I wonder how stupid people make it through life. Seriously! Some people seem so clueless it baffles me how they can even make it through a single day, much less a whole lifetime.
Any thoughts?

Ah, you seem to have met my son-in-law. In fairness to him though, I must confess my son also shows a lot of the same quirks and tendencies. Perhaps it is a male thing?
I have a feeling there's a doozy of an example behind this post...care to elaborate? :)
What's the expression, "ignorance is bliss?"
True, but denial is not a river in Egypt.
I've been meeting a large number of stupid people lately, and I've wondered the same thing myself. Then I wonder if other people think the same thing about me, you know, like Stephen Hawkings or something. Or Einstein. He would have definitely thought I was stupid.
Yeah, kinda of goes against Darwin's theory doesn't it?
I don't mind stupidity so much as I mind willful ignorance, but I'd guess that most stupid people get through life by steering clear of many of the things that might trap up smarter people. The ones who lack the cerebral wherewithal to manage even this avoidance strategy must suffer terribly.
Just reading your question made my cheeks blaze: I'm betting the people who gave me directions recently are wondering the exact same thing about me.
I'm not stupid, but I can play that role.
(based on a line from Russo's "Straight Man")
